In the 2017 fall sport season, there have been great performances from all Nashoba teams that have been working very hard this season.  Showing much success, four of our sports teams made playoffs, which is very impressive.

The football team ended their regular season with 7-1, and are number 1 seed in CMASS D4 Division. The team had their first playoff game November 3rd against Westboro and won 27-13, the boys will play Marlboro in the District Finals on Saturday, November 11th at  11:00 am at Doyle field in Leominster. If the boys win this game on Saturday, they will be off to State Championship game at Gillette. In addition, Cheerleading is also having a strong season, placing 2nd at leagues and qualifying for regionals.

Girls soccer had an outstanding regular season at 13-2-3, and are ready to take on Grafton on Tuesday at 6:00pm at home.

Girls field hockey also had an impressive regular season going undefeated 16-0-2. They are D1, the number 1 seed and beat  Groton- Dunstable last Friday and Wachusett Tuesday night with a score of 4-2, pushing them into the finals.

The Volleyball team went 14-6 in the regular season and placed 5th in D2. The girls played Medfield (n.o 4) in Medfield on Monday November 6th, played hard,  but did not come home with a victory.

Our cross country team has had great performances from all runners. The Cross Country teams traveled to Fitchburg to compete in the league meet. The boys’ team came in 3rd with top finishers, Jack Diefenbach, Ethan Sarafin, and Drew Burrows. Emily Vivanco was a top finisher for girls.

Congratulations to these sport teams for having a great, hardworking season. Now it’s time for playoffs!
