It’s Thursday night, the clock is ticking, you have two quizzes, a test, and an essay all due tomorrow. Your mind is racing, but here you are, clicking the next episode button, procrastinating a little bit more. Let’s be honest, we’ve all been there once or twice. It’s going to happen eventually, whether it’s with Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Video, HBO Now. So, being guilty of this act more than once, I am going to tell YOU what you should watch.
The show, “The Office”, is a mockumentary-comedy takes viewers through the story of the employees of Dunder Mifflin paper company located in Scranton, Pennsylvania. A camera crew follows employees around their office while they work. These characters come from all walks of life, harboring very clashing personalities which, as you can imagine, lead to some very strange situations. “The Office” is a cast full of characters who never grow up, pulling pranks on one another, playing games and not getting any work done – similar to your typical high school classroom. The boss, Michael Scott, is the leader of these wildly inappropriate jokes, throwing “that’s what she said” in every other sentence. These little, harmless jokes always lighten your mood and act as a nice small oasis for your brain during stressful school months. This relatable comedy is perfect for when you have that essay you’ve been putting it off all week due tomorrow and you need to type some words on paper- pronto.
