Relay for Life is approaching, and for students of Nashoba who can’t participate in the actual event, a mini relay will be held this Friday to benefit the American Cancer Society. The Mini Relay will be held on the track, and students have been eagerly asking their teachers if they will take the class out for the period.

As in past years, games of volleyball, soccer, and football will return to the turf if students so choose to play rather than walk around the track. “It’s basically like a field day,” Arushi Ahmed, a participant in the walk for Relay for Life, stated.

The cost to participate in the Mini Relay is $1 for each time students go outside if teachers decide to take their classes, and all funds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Any students who wish to register for the main Relay for Life event held on May 30th into the 31st can register online at http://relay.acsevents.org/
