Jackie Cannon has been writing for the Chieftain Press since September 2015, and she's had a passion for writing for the duration of her life. This year, Jackie is a Senior and plans to study Elementary Education, English, and Theatre in college. In addition to writing, Jackie loves to sing and perform and is an active member of Nashoba Drama and Choir. She is also the president of Best Buddies at Nashoba and loves spending time with her buddy. Her favorite kind of article to write is an editorial that stirs up a little controversy and causes discussion about issues in the world, such as her proudest article, "Columbus Day: A Celebration of Genocide."
